How to Cook
Chai Glazed Ham
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 teabags or 5gms of ManoominChai
- 1/3 cup (80ml) boiling water
- 1/3 cup (80ml) orange juice
- 1 tbsp. (15gm) brown sugar (packed)
- ½ tsp. (1gm) dry mustard powder
DIRECTIONS:
- Infuse tea with boiling water for 4-5 mins and let cool.
- Preheat oven to 300°F or 150°C
- Combine cooled tea with orange juice, brown sugar, and dry mustard – stir to blend.
- Score ham with knife into 1” or 2cm square pattern.
- Place ham on open roaster with rack.
- Brush ham liberally with infused glazing liquid.
- Place ham in oven and liberally brush every 20 minutes until done (Internal temp. of 145°F or 63°C)
NOTES:
- *Total bake time will vary. Approx. 20 mins per lb or 500g.
